Christmas frame decoration

I have been making this one for a about two weeks, not because it took a long time or because it was hard, just because I am lazy! Anyway, I bought some glitter from the kids part in Asda, and I glued it around the frame, then once it had dried on I put another layer of glue so that it didn’t flake off too much.

Then I cut out the shape of a reindeer from some paper and glued glitter down on that. and let that dry too.

I had some left over pages out of a book from when i made the book hide away, so put the into the frame with the reindeer on top.

This is how it came out…..

Its the most wonderful time of the year.

This is not really crafty, or cheap either really.

I just really want to show it to anyone who will look.

This is my christmas tree, and I am in love with it 😀

Not a scrap of tinsel in sight, because every christmas tree I have looked at that I really liked didn’t have any on it at all

I love christmas 🙂

bauble wreath

I bought a hot glue gun!! It was only £3.50 from home bargains and I am so excited about all of the things I can make and craft with it!!

So the first thing I made was a bauble wreath.

I cut a circle from cardboard as a template, otherwise it would probably look more like a triangle.

I bought the baubles from pound land, I paid about £3 for all of them with a few extra left over

Then I put the big baubles down first and stuck them to the cardboard, having said this if I were to do it again, I think I would balance them onto the cardboard rather than stick them down because it didn’t peel off too easily.

Then I stuck on the smaller ones and filled in the gaps.

I bought the big bow for 99p at home bargains too and i just stuck that on at the end.

This is the outcome:

crafting fail

Spent the night crafting….I’ve literally failed at everything I’ve tried tonight! In fact, this picture sums up my night, can’t even remember what I was trying to achieve.

I should have stopped two hours ago!
